PCB / TAX CALCULATIONS + EPF, SOCSO & EIS CONTRIBUTIONS AND CLAIMS ( 2 DAYS)
By Mr. Cyril Pagadala - 2 & 3 July 2018, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm,
Kuala Lumpur
(100% Claimable From HRDF/PSMB)
INTRODUCTION

The EPF Act 1991 is a retirement scheme for employees. The SOCSO Act 1969 is an insurance scheme for Malaysian employees for employment injury or invalidity. EIS (2018) is an insurance scheme for all levels of retrenched employees

Both employer and employee are required by law to contribute to EPF, SOCSO and EIS.

The Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) or PCB scheme is a compulsory pay-as-you-earn (PYE) scheme whereby employers are required to deduct employees’ tax on a monthly basis using the schedule, formula, approved vendor software or e-calculator.

This programme describes the wages / remuneration for which there should be deduction for PCB/MTD; and employer and employee contribution for SOCSO, EPF, EIS. It also describes the benefits under SOCSO, EPF an EIS. Other employee tax issues are also discussed

It demonstrates how the MTD is computed using the manual formula method so that the participant is able to explain to other employees the process; and answer the golden question: ‘why does MTD vary from month to month?’.

There are more than ample workshops for participants to master the MTD & Employee Tax Issues and EPF 1991, SOCSO 1969 & EIS (2018) Acts.
